Carfax revealed Tuesday that it has been tapped by Subaru of America to be the official vehicle history report provider under the automaker’s certified pre-owned program, which has required dealers to run a Carfax report on every CPO vehicle since 2005.
Every certified Subaru comes with a Carfax report. The automaker is one of 32 which use Carfax to provide vehicle history in CPO.
Offering a dealer’s perspective, Subaru Superstore of Chandler owner Richard Cvijanovich said: “Subaru and Carfax are two strong brands that consumers trust.
“When a customer drives by our dealership, they know we are a Carfax Advantage Dealer. This helps further increase credibility to our clients, especially with our Certified Subaru vehicles,” added the Arizona dealer.
